I began my parts
experience in 1987 working at a local
heavy duty truck dealer.
Next, I took on the purchasing of light and heavy
duty truck parts at a large
equipment rental yard.
In 1998 I came to work
for Burtons Fire. I have been to Pierce for various parts training classes
as well as Waterous Pump School. Burtons Fire also allowed me to attend an
aerial class and a Tak-4 suspension class taught here on the premises.
When it comes to
customer service, we at Burton’s strive to improve in every
area we can, to meet the customers’ needs.

Prior to my work at Burton's Fire, I was employed in
agricultural tractor parts sales. In 2004, I was given an opportunity to
join Burton's Fire as a parts technician. My favorite aspect of the job is
working with our customers. One of my main responsibilities is taking
parts calls, so if you call us, there is a good chance I am the guy you'll
be talking to. I have attended Waterous Pump School, as well as several
Pierce training classes. If there is anything I can help you with, please
give me a call or email me.

I originally started
working in the automotive & light truck aftermarket parts industry in 1989. At the
time I also oversaw a full engine machine shop, and this is where I learned
about engine overhauling and machining. A few years later I went into the
automotive repair business and then went back to handling automotive parts
until I moved to Modesto, CA in 2004.
I
joined Burton's Fire in September 2005. I knew I was in for a challenge
working with fire trucks, but I welcomed that challenge. Every day is a
learning experience and I enjoy meeting new people from all over the
country. I am thankful to Burtons for providing my training classes at Pierce in Appleton,
WS and Waterous Pump School in St. Paul, MN.
I have also attended
Tak-4 suspension class,
and a Pierce Aerial Apparatus class at Burtons Fire.
I believe customer
service is a key factor to having good business relationships. If there
is anything I can assist you with, please feel free to contact me.
I am married and have
two beautiful girls. We enjoy the outdoors, going out to the
movies, museums, parks, and the ocean as well as playing paintball when an
opportunity rises.
